Brooklyn MTA bus driver shot, wounded in neck by stray bullet

A 25-year-old man was shot in the neck early Sunday when a stray bullet shot through the window of the MTA bus he was riding in Brooklyn, police said.

The B15 bus approached Hegeman Ave. and Thomas Boyland St., when the stray shot from outside hit the victim in the neck around 1:25 a.m., an NYPD spokesperson said.

He had boarded the bus on Rockaway Ave. in Brownsville, police said.

Medics transported the victim to Brookdale University Hospital in stable condition.

The police have made no arrests.
