A man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred in Worcester on Friday evening, police say.
Officers responding to a shooting on Grand Street around 10 p.m. found an unconscious man in the street, Worcester police say. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased. T
The victim’s name has not been released.
Givenchy Smith, 24, was arrested and faces armed assault on murder charges.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Worcester Police.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
