Multiple injuries reported in school shooting in Madison, Wisconsin, police say

CHICAGO (CBS) — Police respond to a shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin on Monday.

Multiple injuries were reported at the school at 4901 East Buckeye Road, according to Madison police. There is a large police presence at the school with several emergency vehicles in the parking lot.

Police say the scene is still active and the investigation is ongoing.

Residents have been asked to avoid the area and roads along 4900 Buckeye Road are closed.

According to WISC, parents and students were reunited at the SSM Health building near the intersection of East Buckeye Road and Stoughton Road.
