Police are investigating the shooting that started in East Point and ended in southwest Atlanta
Police are investigating a shooting in southwest Atlanta that happened shortly before 10 p.m. on Monday.
Atlanta police officers had cordoned off Memorial Drive near Pryor Street Monday evening and a tow truck had arrived to remove a car that was in the middle of the road.
About a half-dozen Atlanta police cars were at the scene on Memorial Drive.

Channel 2’s Michael Doudna contacted the Atlanta Police Department, who told him the first incident occurred in East Point and the victim subsequently ended up in Atlanta.

Police have not released the identity or current condition of the victim and no information about the shooter is available at this time.
