WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – A 14-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound Monday evening in the 300 block of Candlelight Plaza, a trailer park west of West Lafayette, police say.
According to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office, police are looking for a juvenile suspected of firing the shot.
On Tuesday morning it was not yet entirely clear what led to the shooting of one young person on another. 112 was called on Monday at 8:20 p.m.
Paramedics rushed the teen to hospital.
The sheriff’s office has not commented on the severity of the boy’s wound, but the sheriff’s office said he was still alive as of Tuesday morning.
