Former Lobo, woman bringing bathroom renovation business to ABQ

December 21 – A former University of New Mexico Lobo quarterback and his wife are bringing one of the largest bathroom remodeling companies in the U.S. to Albuquerque.

Re-Bath, a bathroom remodeling company that started in 1978, announced last week that it had signed an agreement with Kole and Sarah McKamey to bring the franchise to Albuquerque.

Sarah McKamey and her family owned and operated Jaguar Land Rover dealerships in New Mexico. She has a marketing degree from UNM and worked as a neurophysiologist in commercial real estate in the medical field before returning to the family business before entering into the remodeling company agreement.

Kole McKamey played quarterback at UNM from 2002 to 2006 and then worked in medical sales and for the UNM Department of Athletics.

“With Sarah’s expertise in marketing and my sales experience, combined with our strong community connections and background in the home renovation industry, we are confident we will achieve success as Re-Bath franchisees,” said Kole McKamey.

Re-Bath officials said the Southwest is a region with great opportunity for potential Re-Bath franchisees.

“Re-Bath is excited to welcome Kole and SArah to our franchise family. It is clear they know the community and industry very well,” said Brad Hiller, CEO of Re-Bath. “We are confident that their passion for the company and their deep local connections will help fuel growth and bring our innovative bathroom remodeling solutions to homeowners throughout New Mexico.”
