Boston police arrest most wanted suspect on outstanding warrants

Boston police arrested a suspect on the BPD’s most wanted list on an outstanding warrant.

Police were dispatched to 206 Newbury Street on Friday, December 20 at approximately 7:44 PM for a theft in progress. Upon arrival, the suspect had fled.

Boston Police Operations was able to provide officers with a description of the suspect.

Officers located the suspect and initiated a foot chase, which led to the suspect’s arrest.

Erin Shruhan, 28, of Boston, was charged with shoplifting, but also had outstanding warrants for Assault to Murder and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Shruhan is expected to appear in Boston Municipal Court for arraignment.
