After a pair of exciting semifinals, the second of which was a five-set nail-biter between Penn State and Nebraska that continued into the wee hours of Friday morning, the two teams in NCAA Division I women’s volleyball have been announced. The Louisville Cardinals, who defeated Pitt in the semifinals, will play the Penn State Nittany Lions in the championship game this afternoon at 3 p.m. at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The game will be broadcast nationally on ABC. Penn State has previously won the title seven times, while tournament hosts Louisville would become champions for the first time if they beat the Lions.
