Dec. 22—CUMBERLAND — A city resident was arrested Saturday on charges of child abuse and assault in connection with an incident that occurred in Oldtown, Cumberland police said.
Eric Lynn Clark Jr., 33, was taken into custody by city police on an outstanding warrant related to the Oct. 15 incident.
Clark was being held without bond Sunday at the Allegany County Detention Center on charges of child abuse: second-degree custodian and second-degree assault.
A bail hearing was scheduled for Monday in district court.
