A 6-year-old is in critical condition after a head-on collision near Stacy

STACY, Minnesota — A 6-year-old girl and four others were injured in a head-on collision in Stacy.

According to the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened just after 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning on Stacy Trail, near Falcon Avenue.

All five people involved in the crash required medical attention. The 6-year-old girl was taken to a trauma center, where she is in critical condition.

The remaining four were taken to area hospitals and are expected to survive.

Alcohol is suspected to have played a role in the accident. An adult male has been arrested.

The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case.
