The lanes of US 501 are closed after a commercial vehicle crashed into a utility pole Sunday morning.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the area near Seaborn Drive at 10:24 a.m., according to a Facebook post.
The lanes heading toward Conway are blocked because there are lines across the roadway, the post said.
No one was taken to the hospital with injuries, the post said.
Crews are working to repair the damaged pole and officials are asking drivers to stay away from the area to avoid delays.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
