Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan will always have “Please Please Please.”
According to multiple reports, the couple has ended their relationship after a year of dating.
An insider told Us Weekly that they don’t believe the 25-year-old pop star Salt burn actor, 32, will get back together after previously breaking up. A source told People magazine that they are “both young and career-oriented,” so life is taking them in different directions.

They are certainly flourishing professionally. On December 4, Spotify announced that Carpenter’s “Espresso” was the most streamed song of 2024, with more than 1.6 billion streams worldwide. She stars in her own Netflix special, A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenterpremieres on December 6.
The Irish actor was busy promoting his film this fall Bird. He also filmed Peaky blinders with Cillian Murphy for Netflix. Since announcing the breakup, Keoghan has been photographed on set Crime 101 in Los Angeles.

April 2024: Carpenter made her Coachella debut and Keoghan was her biggest fan, filming her on his phone.
May 2024: The pair attended the Met Gala and made a stylish duo.

June 2024: Carpenter launched their relationship hard by casting Keoghan as her husband in her video for “Please Please Please.” He played a bad boy and was arrested again and again, while Carpenter stayed by his side and bailed him out of jail.
Asked about her “boyfriend” by Rolling Stone, Carpenter replied, “How can I avoid this question?” She did indeed say, “The [dating] pool is the pool, and when you meet people who feel authentic and are so brilliant and amazing in every way, that’s what you do. Obviously I write songs about exactly how I feel, so I can’t be too surprised that people are interested in who and what those songs are about. That’s something that comes with the territory.
August 2024: Carpenter called Keoghan “one of the best actors of this generation” while speaking to Variety about the “Please Please Please” video. “Seeing it on screen with my song as the soundtrack made the video better and all the more special,” she said.
