Homes in the Canton-Massillon region are one of the hottest markets in the country, and much of the attention seems to be coming from within the state.
According to data from Realtor.com, properties in Stark County are most frequently viewed by users in Summit County, with 13.1% of the state’s views coming from the area.
Out-of-state viewers took second and third places, as Loudoun County in Virginia had the second-most views ahead of properties in Stark County and New York County in New York came in third.
Most of the top ten counties looking at properties in Stark County were from out of state, as the list includes Tuscarawas, Wayne and Cuyahoga counties.
What is the housing market like in the Stark County area?
In November, Realtor.com found that the median sales price for homes in Canton was just under $190,000, well below the national average. The average price for home listings active within the November observation period was $246,000.
