A man accused of raping a woman in the laundry room of an apartment building has been charged.

Tire Otey, 28, was charged Friday with attempted rape, attempted gross sexual imposition and disrupting public service, according to Kettering Municipal Court documents.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of E. Dorothy Lane for a hang-up call on October 9 around 9 p.m.
While checking the building, they found two people engaged in sexual conduct in the laundry room. An investigation revealed that a woman had called for help, according to a Kettering Police blotter report.
Montgomery County prosecutors approved the charges with bail set at $475,000.
Otey remains in the Montgomery County Jail, online jail records show.
His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
