A 25-year-old man’s skull was fractured after he was hit by a car and the driver fled Saturday morning in North Philadelphia, police said.

According to police, the crash happened just after 2:45 a.m. on the 900 block of Watts Street. The victim was crossing the street when he was struck by a white car traveling southbound on Watts Street, police said.

After the collision, the driver took off southbound on Watts Street toward Parrish Street, according to police. Investigators believe the car involved could be a Jeep.

Police said the victim, who has not yet been identified, also had internal bleeding and is in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.

This accident comes just one day after a woman was fatally struck in a… Collision on the 4800 block of Levick Street in Tacony just after 2 a.m. Friday morning.
