A manufactured home fell from the large rig it was being towed behind in Pasadena on Monday and collided with another truck and trailer on the 210 Freeway.

It was not immediately clear what caused the house to fall off the trailer, but the incident caused a massive traffic surge on the westbound lanes of the freeway near the N. Lake Avenue on-ramps, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to police, there has been one report of an injury, but it is unclear how serious it is.

SkyCal flew over the scene of the incident, which showed the trailer of a big rig sustaining significant damage. Parts of the dropped house were splintered and debris was scattered across the roadway.

One lane of traffic was able to move through the area under the guidance of CHP officers.

The closure was expected to last several hours as crews waited for tow trucks and machinery to remove the house from the highway.

This is a development story. Check back for more information.
