A new bill would criminalize digitally altered ‘deepfake’ porn

As more people fall victim to so-called “deepfake porn,” Congress is finally stepping in with a bill that would make it illegal to share non-consensual intimate images online, with penalties of steep fines and possible prison sentences. Jo Ling Kent spoke to those in charge.
