A poll commissioned by Elzen shows that Chicago residents do not want a property tax increase

After all fifty alders rejected Mayor Brandon Johnson’s $300 million property tax increase two weeks ago, Mayor Johnson came back with a $150 million alternative. But as political reporter Chris Tye reports, a new poll shows voters don’t want that either, or a property tax increase.
