A portion of the Old White Horse Pike in Camden County will be closed Friday until further notice for construction.

The county said the Old White Horse Pike closure is located between Ehrke Road and Route 30 in Winslow Township, New Jersey.

Camden County Commissioner Al Dyer advises drivers to be patient and mindful of their speeds near work zones and road closures.

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves sufficient time to reach their destination,” said Dyer, who is also a liaison for the Department of Public Works. “Also remember that when traveling through a construction area, slow down and remain alert for crew members and debris.”

The province has not provided a specific timeline on when the area will reopen or what type of infrastructure work will be done.
