Emily’s winter wardrobe seems to be the highlight this season: fur coats, ski goggles and all

A first look at Emily in Paris season 4 – and all its wild outfits – has arrived.
In the hit Netflix series, Lily Collins plays Emily Cooper, an American whose marketing job took her to Paris. Over the past three seasons, her sharp attitude and outrageous fashion have made quite an impression on her new colleagues and friends – and on the viewers at home.
There’s no doubt that fans of the show are looking forward to the title character’s fashion choices and her romantic entanglements. On Wednesday, June 5, Netflix released a first look at the highly anticipated fourth season, in which Emily appears to be enjoying winter and all the fantastic fashion options that come with it.

In photos released by the streamer, fans can see Emily in numerous seasonal ensembles. One shot shows the character pulling a light blue suitcase, wearing an oversized beige teddy bear coat and a sailor cap. In another image, Emily is wearing a brown fur coat, matching fur hat and large sunglasses (perhaps a hint that a ski holiday is in the offing?).

Fans also get a look at the rest of the cast’s wardrobe. One moment you see Emily and her best friend Mindy (played by Ashley Park) coordinating colorful outfits; Emily wears a yellow leather jacket (and a statement tassel bag), while Mindy wears a structured peplum-style mini dress.

The first half of Emily in Paris Season 4 premieres on August 15, followed by the second half on September 12, and picks up after the “dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misguided wedding” as “Emily is left reeling.”
“She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel is expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed,” the official synopsis reads.

In a video announcing the premiere dates for Season 4, the cast shared how they would describe it in just three words.

Collins said “vulnerable” and “adventurous,” Camille Razat (Camille) said “sloppy,” and Lucien Laviscount (Alfie) said “chaotic” and “heartbreaking.”
Since filming was still underway at the time, Park, 32, joked that her three words to describe the season are “not done yet,” while William Abadie (Antoine) said “amor” and Samuel Arnold (Julian) said ” fashionable’ said. “

Ahead of the season 3 premiere, the show’s lead costume designer Marylin Fitoussi shared that she had “even greater freedom” with Emily’s look.
“We lined up 14,000 pieces,” she told PEOPLE in December 2022. “I think Lily [Collins] we did about 43 looks.”
She continued, “So we always have to present new things, push the boundaries of what we can do.”
