Opal Lee was just twelve years old when a racist mob burned down her family’s home in Fort Worth, Texas. Eighty decades later, with the help of donors and nonprofits, she was given the property as a gift and a new house was built on it for free. Steve Hartman has more in ‘On the Road’.
