A woman was killed in a fire at a home in West Allis on Saturday morning, according to West Allis police.
At 12:35 p.m., a West Allis police officer observed a fire at a home in the 900 block of South 57th Street. The West Allis Fire Department was then immediately dispatched to the scene.
One woman was found dead in the home. She has not yet been identified.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
