Five people, including three children, were killed in a shooting in Washington state on Monday, and a juvenile suspect was taken into custody, authorities said.
Officers responded shortly before 5 a.m. to reports of a shooting at a home in the Lake Alice Road neighborhood of Fall City, about 25 miles (40 kilometers) east of Seattle, the King County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Three children and two adults were killed, according to the sheriff’s office. A minor suspect was in custody. It was unclear what relationship there was between the suspect and the victims, the sheriff’s office said.
A person in their mid-teens was hospitalized, according to the sheriff’s office.
