On Monday, one person was left homeless after a fire at an apartment complex on the edge of Park Merced in San Francisco.

At approximately 10:40 p.m., emergency services responded to a fire at a 13-story apartment building at 55 Chumasero Drive.

Upon arrival, crews saw flames on the ninth floor of the building and began attacking it. The fire never reached any other floors, SFFD said.
