A Servant’s Perspective with Beverly Gray
The Manor has rescheduled the reading of A Servant’s View with Beverly Gray to Sunday, June 23 at 2 p.m. Join local historian Beverly Gray for a discussion about the servants who worked at Adena.
Go to Art with Steve Patrick
Join Steve Patrick on Saturday, July 6 at noon as the Mansion continues to honor Skip Hathaway and her love of art with Skip into Art.
This art class is for children ages five and up and children must have a parent or supervisor with them. Admission to this event is free, and art supplies will be provided.
Mosaic flag craft
Let your child celebrate Independence Day with a patriotic craft! On Sunday, July 7, you and your child can join us at 3 p.m. to make a mosaic flag. Admission to this event is free and the manor will provide the supplies. Children aged five and over are welcome and must be accompanied by a parent or supervisor.
Independence Day celebration in the 19th century
Celebrate Independence Day as they did in the 19th century by going back to the 1800s on Sunday, July 7 at 2:00 PM. Witness the reading of part of the Declaration of Independence, reading of patriotic poems, a presentation of the flag and a toast to George Washington.
This event takes place under the picnic pavilion behind the visitor center and there is no charge.
