Alleged armed pursuit suspect arrested after high-speed chase through North Hollywood

Los Angeles Police Department officers pursue a suspected armed suspect driving a white pickup truck.

As officers led the chase, the suspect was seen driving through parking lots, speeding through intersections and cutting through traffic.

Sometimes they drove along flat streets at speeds of up to 80 miles per hour.

Just after 10 p.m., the driver quickly pulled over to Riverside Drive in Studio City, where several patrol cars quickly pulled up. Officers could be seen pointing guns at the truck as the driver and passenger put their hands out the windows to surrender.

Both were taken into custody without further incident.
