ALLIANCE – Police say an unidentified man is accused of touching himself in the women’s restroom at Walmart on Oct. 17.
Officers hope the public can help them identify the man, and posted photos from a store security video to Facebook on Tuesday. The images recently came into the hands of the police, following a message on social media.
He still has not been identified as of 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.
According to police, a woman entered the restroom around 1:30 p.m. and found the man in one of the stalls with the door open. She confronted him. He left. There was also a father and his young daughter present, waiting to use the toilet.
The man was described as 6 feet tall, in his late 30s to early 40s, and was wearing gold earrings in each ear.
“While this is a disturbing incident, we want to reassure everyone that the Alliance Walmart is very safe, and this is an isolated incident that we want to address quickly,” the police Facebook post emphasized.
