One person died after a house fire in Windsor early Sunday morning.
The New York State Police at Deposit were dispatched by the Broome County 911 Center to 68 White Birch Lake Road in the City of Windsor at approximately 4:43 a.m. to assist with a house fire.
According to a news release, the home was completely flooded when troopers arrived. Two people, an 82-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, were able to escape. One man was trapped inside.
Daniel R. Price, 84, was found dead inside the home by members of the Windsor Fire Department.
The other two people were transported by ambulance to UHS Wilson Medical Center for what state police said were non-life-threatening injuries.

The Windsor Fire Department and State Police were assisted by the West Windsor, Harpursville, Five Mile Point, Susquehanna and Deposit fire departments.
The Broome County Fire Investigator and Broome County Coroner also responded to the scene.
