Live elimination episodes are always full of tension, and The voice was no different. With only five spots available for next week’s finale, Tuesday’s episode ramped up the drama, gradually – over the course of the hour – revealing the lucky one Vote finalists advance to the final round.
One coach’s team remained intact (Team Bublé), while another team was on the verge of complete elimination (Team Reba).
Adding to the drama was the “instant save,” where America had five minutes (yes, only five!) to vote for one of the four singers who received the fewest votes after Monday’s episode.

In possibly their last time The voice On stage, the four singers sang for their lives in the hope of claiming that coveted last spot.
The remainder of the episode featured performances by Reba McEntire, who performed “Consider Me Gone”; Gwen Stefani, who sang “Somebody Else’s” from her latest album Bouquet; and Grammy-nominated singer October London, who soulfully sang his new single “3rd Shift.”

Before America saved Joseph from elimination, McEntire was the only coach not to have a singer advance to the finals. It turns out that Joseph’s raw rock cover of the Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun” convinced viewers enough to push him into the Top 5, above Christina Eagle (Team Snoop), Adam Bohanan (Team Reba) and Jan Dan (Team Gwen). ).
Moments earlier, the Dallas-based Brit, who has been open about his journey with Crohn’s disease, thanked McEntire for giving him the confidence to perform just months after surgery. “The world would have been so deprived without you on stage,” said a tearful McEntire.
