Officials said the center will expand current services, such as the pet food bank, behavioral hotline and pet health training. “We’re here to serve the people and save the pets … and that’s the mission of Animal Humane, to make sure we’re improving the lives of the cats and dogs of New Mexico, and that’s what we’re trying to honor with this new shift in focus,” said Animal Humane of New Mexico Executive Director Val Wilson.

The last day of dog daycare is July 31st.
