The first week of college football season is finally over (we’re allowed to cry, Florida State fans) and the first draft of the AP midseason football poll is finally out.
Caroline Fenton, Jason Fitz, and Adam Breneman respond to this early-season poll, discussing which teams are ranked too high, too low, or just right. Were the Michigan Wolverines and Oregon Ducks wins too close for comfort? Are we letting Penn State down? Can USC prove it can be the Big Ten’s cream of the crop?
Later in the show, the three raise a glass to Marcus Freeman’s Notre Dame team and also pour one for Brian Kelly’s LSU team and Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes team.
To conclude the episode, the group previews four games they’ll be watching (or skipping) in Week 2: Tennessee vs. NC State, Colorado vs. Nebraska, Michigan vs. Texas, and South Florida vs. Alabama.
