One man has been taken into custody after police suspect he was involved in breaking into apartment mailboxes and stealing packages in January.
Court documents show several people at the SouthPark Morrison Apartments Complex had their packages stolen from secure lockers.
One victim tells Channel 9 that her packages were stolen not once but twice.

“We think mailboxes are safe, a safe place, and they’re a mess from December through January,” says Carla Barbosa.
Barbosa is one of 14 victims listed in an investigation into mail theft at the south Charlotte apartment complex.
Officers arrested William Dibella last week.
He and another man entered the complex’s mailroom in January, according to court documents.
Both men broke into fifteen secure lockers. All packages in every safe were stolen.
“One of them was a gift to my brother. It’s frustrating. Not having the things you bought,” Barbosa said.
Barbosa says her packages have been stolen twice so far this year.
Now she says she tries to grab her packages as soon as they’re delivered.
“When I get the codes, I try to go as fast as I can so I kind of avoid those situations,” Barbosa said.
Court documents show Dibella has a history of breaking into apartment mailrooms and stealing packages.
Barbosa hopes this won’t happen again.
“I’m glad at least one of them was caught, so maybe that will help us prevent more events like this,” Barbosa said.
Police have not yet identified the second suspect in this crime.
