The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of K9 Knox, assisted the City of Everett Police Department in the arrest of a man wanted for domestic violence and an outstanding felony arrest warrant.
The suspect attempted to evade police by fleeing on foot, leading to a chase in which K9 Knox tracked him down.
While the chase was underway, citizens reported seeing the man running several blocks ahead of the search team.
Despite warnings from officers at the suspect’s last known location, he ran away and eventually jumped a fence.
K9 Knox was then deployed for an immediate arrest.
The suspect fell down a steep hill during an escape attempt, but was quickly captured and held by K9 Knox until officers and deputies arrived on scene.
After the suspect was arrested, he was examined and treated for his injuries by medical assistance.
He was subsequently booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
