At least 5 shots fired during West Indian Day parade in New York City, police say, were ‘intentional acts’

At least five people were shot Monday during the West Indian American Day Parade in New York City, the NYPD said. There is no active shooter and the shooting appeared to be an “intentional act,” NYPD Patrol Chief John Chell said at a news conference. Police are searching for a suspect.
