At least seven injured in Russian rocket attack on southeastern Ukraine

At least seven people were injured in a Russian rocket attack on a multi-storey residential building in the city of Kryvy Rih in southeastern Ukraine.

“Russia seeks only a continuation of the war, and every blow refutes Russian diplomacy statements,” President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote in a message on Telegram, repeating his call for more weapons to defend the country against such attacks.

“Without principled decisions and strong support for Ukraine, Russia will have no motivation to seek peace.”

Kryvyi Rih is Zelensky’s hometown and he posted photos of the building destroyed by the rocket.

Search and rescue teams continue to search for survivors among the rubble, he said.
