Atlanta police are investigating the shooting death of a man.
Police say they responded to a call of a person shot at 1162 Booker Avenue in southwest Atlanta.

When they arrived on scene, officers found a 52-year-old man who had been shot.
When medical personnel arrived and assessed the victim, he was determined to have died at the scene.

Homicide investigators responded to the scene to investigate further and said their investigation is ongoing.
