AURORA, Ill. (CBS) The city of Aurora earlier this year has unveiled a new website that allows community input and feedback on city projects – and has now expanded the scope of the website so that every city council member has a page specifically for their neighborhood.

The citizen engagement platform ‘Your Voice’ pages went live last month for all 12 Aurora city council members. Each space features an area where residents can ask questions directly to councilors, and some also include lists of community updates and events.

Some pages also include other engagement tools, such as an “ideas pace,” where the public can share their thoughts on improvements, community events, and business ideas.

Both residents and non-residents can register and subscribe on one of the councilor pages.

“Your Voice” is part of a larger effort to redesign Aurora’s city website, with a full rollout planned for early next year.
