After playing just one game for the Colorado Avalanche, goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen returns to the Winnipeg Jets.
Kahkonen, 28, was claimed off waivers by the Winnipeg Jets in October, with the Colorado Avalanche claiming him off waivers.

Now the much-traveled Kahkonen is headed back to Winnipeg after being picked up by his former team after the Avalanche placed him on waivers yesterday.

Kahkonens’ only appearance with the Avalanche came on October 30 against the Tampa Bay Lightning in a 5–2 loss, in which Kahkonen gave up 4 goals on 20 shots.
In 140 career games split between the Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks, New Jersey Devils and the Colorado Avalanche, Kahkonen is 49-68-15 with a 3.34 goals against average and an .898 save percentage with 4 shutouts.
