Avalanche offers injury updates for multiple players; Key Winger could return soon

Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar provided some injury updates on several players, including Ross Colton, who will join the team on the upcoming five-game road trip.

Colton skated in a non-contact jersey today and Bednar said he could return by the end of the trip.

Colton was red hot at the time of his injury. In just ten games this season, the winger has scored eight goals and one assist, scoring four goals in his five appearances. Colton hasn’t played since Oct. 28 and would be a welcome addition to the Avs lineup.

Jonathan Drouin was reassessed on a week-to-week basis after re-aggravating his upper-body injury.
