The Bayview Bridge in Sturgeon Bay will be closed to all vehicle traffic for three days next week, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region announced Friday.
Routine maintenance work and inspections will be carried out on the bridge, requiring complete closures from 7am to 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Truck traffic will be detoured via the Maple/Oregon Bridge to cross the canal, while other vehicles will be detoured over the Michigan Street Bridge.
Additional roadwork is planned on State 57 between County Line Road and South Duluth Avenue from Monday, November 5 through Thursday, November 14. A moving lane closure will be in use while pavement repairs are made on both the northbound and southbound lanes from 7 a.m. to 4 a.m. hours daily, except Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
