Boeing’s empty Starliner capsule returned to Earth, closing a chapter in the ongoing spaceflight saga

A chapter in the ongoing space saga involving two American astronauts came to an end last night when the Boeing Starliner capsule returned to Earth. The spacecraft landed in New Mexico late Friday night but returned empty-handed. The two pilots who were supposed to bring it home remain on the International Space Station.
