Boston police are investigating the incident where a car ended up in the water

Boston Police are investigating an incident that occurred near Terminal Street in Charlestown.

On Sunday around 7:33 p.m., police were dispatched to Medford Street and Polk Street in Charlestown for reports of a person running around on the train tracks.

The person was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation, but while police were on scene they noticed a car in the water nearby.

The Boston Fire Department’s dive team was called in to investigate. When the car was discovered, the dive team found no one in the vehicle.

No injuries were reported and Boston Police cleared the scene.
