A 14-year-old boy was shot Monday evening while sitting in a parked vehicle on the West Side in the Homan Square neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 8:15 p.m., the boy was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 3400 block of West Grenshaw Street when someone opened fire, striking him in the left leg, police said.
The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
No one had been arrested and detectives were investigating.
