(CBS-DETROIT) – Are you the diamond of the season? You’ll find out soon, because a Bridgerton-themed ball is coming to Detroit.

“I’ve probably seen Bridgerton a hundred times now,” Chelsea Beard said.
Jeremy Scott and Chelsea Beard are co-owners of Uncle & Me Event Management. They said they wanted to bring the Regency era to the Motor City.
“We pride ourselves on being original, authentic people. And it will be so exciting for me to see Bridgerton filter through the lens of Detroit,” said Scott.
Their Queen’s Ball is on August 25 at Castle Hall in Detroit’s Beacon Park.
“Oh my God, I never knew Detroit had castles. Detroit has castles, are you kidding? This will be amazing, and it was recently renovated,” Beard said.
Attendees will enjoy dinner, dancing, carriage rides and games, as well as a chance to win $2,000 cash for “best dressed.”
The organizers said that jumping into a world like Bridgerton is a chance to escape reality for a while.
“To see people who are able to put down their burdens for a moment, to put down their work for a moment. To put down the problems of children, because children are not allowed here at our events. To see how they can solve their problems. to be able to sit down and just enjoy them looking their best. That will fill my heart,” said Scott.
Tickets for the ball are sold out, but a limited number of tickets will be added on Friday, June 14 at 5 p.m.
Uncle & Me is also hosting a Bridgerton-themed tea party that is also sold out, but they said they hope to host more Bridgerton events in the future.
