Over the past 12 months, millions of people have taken advantage of the new way to travel from Central to South Florida. Senior Vice President of Marketing Barbara Drahl said plans are already underway to get more passengers from point A to point B because of the recent growth in ridership.

She adds that partnerships with theme parks, cruises, sports teams and hotels help attract new travelers.

“By the end of next year, we’re going to grow our fleet by 70 percent. Imagine if we doubled our numbers from just a year ago. If we had a fleet that was 70 percent bigger, that would be even better,” Drahl said.

The extensive service is yet to be expanded with a loyalty program for regular customers and a new option for food delivery: scan, order and pay.

Brightline is being built in phases. There are already several stops between Orlando and Miami, and several more are in the works, including Cocoa. Eventually, the route will include Tampa.

Brightline is having a fun experience next month with a Taylor Swift-themed ride to her Eras Tour at Hard Rock Miami.
