December 7 – Brother Gerard Sullivan, OH Brother Gerard Sullivan, OH entered religious life on September 15, 1969 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He took first vows on February 23, 1971 in Waterford, Ireland and final vows on February 1, 1976 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Over the years he served at the Good Shepard Center, Wolverhampton, England; Good Shepard Manor, Kansas City, MO; Good Shepard Manor, Almeda, New Mexico; Barret House, Toronto, Ontario; Cardinal Manning House of Prayer, Los Angeles, California; Camillus House, Miami, Florida, and Good Shepard Center, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Brother Gerard was Director of Novices at the House of Formation in Toronto, Ontario for many years; and was a member of the general council for more than 25 years. Brother Gerard is survived by members of the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God, along with his goddaughter/cousin Margaret Kasin and many other dear cousins. A Rosary will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 7:00 PM. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 9:00 AM, both at Villa Mathias, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
