Bryce Harper, made for this moment, has a brilliant home run celebration in the London Series

Made for this moment, Bryce Harper has a brilliant home run celebration in the London Series originally appeared on NBC Sports Philadelphia

The London Series has been specially put together to help grow the game of baseball in Europe and internationally.

If this is anyone’s first time watching the Phillies (and the Mets, I think), Bryce Harper is doing his best to turn them into a fan.

When Harper commits to something, he goes all the way. Call it pandering… or call it what it really is: an incredibly talented and passionate athlete who makes people fall in love with the game of baseball.

It started when Harper changed his walk-up songs across the pond to fit the series’ theme:

First up: “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls
Second: “Here Comes The Sun” by the Beatles

The second time Harper was at the plate, he hit a solo home run to right field to tie the game. The Phillies scored five more runs in the fourth inning to really put on a show for the players at London Stadium.

But the home run hype didn’t stop there.

Harper is known for his epic home run celebrations. In recent memory, you can look back at his “Atta Boy” staring down and blowing out his 31 birthday candles.

Now it’s time to add a new one to the collection.

Before heading into the dugout, Harper had everyone celebrating his best goal.

The first baseman also rocks a Phillie Phanatic London Guard bat.

In three record appearances, Harper is on bike guard. He only misses a triple.
