Bucks forward Bobby Portis said his home was burglarized during a loss to the Cavaliers

Milwaukee forward Bobby Portis said his home was burglarized Saturday night while he was playing in the Bucks’ 114-113 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Portis shared a video on social media that showed two men outside his home on a security camera. The alleged suspects witnessed glass breaking on the front door of the home.

Although Portis did not go into details and the alleged suspects did not enter his home in the video Portis posted, he said that “many of my valuables were stolen.”

“While I was playing yesterday, I had a home invasion and they took most of my valuables… Any information leading to the return of my belongings will be richly rewarded,” he said in part.

It is unclear what specifically was stolen. Portis believes he was specifically targeted, and he has reported the incident to police.

Portis is in his fifth season with the Bucks this fall. He averaged 11 points and 5.7 rebounds in six games this season, and he had 10 points and eight rebounds in Saturday’s loss. The 29-year-old, who was first selected by the Chicago Bulls with the No. 22 overall pick out of Arkansas in 2015, is in the third year of a four-year, $48.5 million contract with the Bucks.

Milwaukee fell to 1-5 on the season after Saturday’s loss at Fiserv Forum. After winning their season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Bucks have now lost five in a row. They will face the Cavaliers again next Monday in Cleveland.
