Budget Blinds relaunches in Rochester with plans for a new showroom – Post Bulletin

ROCHESTER — After the previous franchisee went bankrupt,

Budget Blinds is gearing up for a new showroom in southwest Rochester under new ownership.

Kevin Sill and the Sill family are the largest Budget Blinds franchisees in the U.S., with locations in Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. The Sills acquired the Rochester franchise in October, which had closed its showroom at 3946 US Highway 52 North. Maplewood Square Shopping Center.

“We are working to build and build a team that can efficiently manage Rochester and the surrounding areas,” Sill said.

With the help of Rochester Makelaar Darci Fenskethe Sills set up a space at 1340 Salem Road SW in the TJ Maxx Plaza. That’s the spot last occupied by Collins Orthodontics until it moved to Jeremiah Lane Northwest.

“We still have some renovations to do and will probably not officially have an open office until around March 2025,” says Sill.

However, Budget Blinds, which sells and installs a wide variety of window treatments, opened today in the Rochester area.

“All our sales take place via in-home consultation, so the showroom is only a base and not necessary to exploit the area,” says Sill. “We now actively help customers in the region.”
