CHICAGO (CBS) — A liquor bandit broke into two popular River North restaurants on Saturday morning.
According to Chicago police, an unknown man broke into Moe’s Cantina and Tree House, both next door to each other in the 100 block of West Kinzie Street. It happened around 8:20 am
An employee at Moe’s told CBS 2 that kitchen staff discovered the break-in when they arrived at the restaurant.
The employee said a masked man stole more than $11,000 worth of liquor.
No one has been taken into custody as area detectives investigate.
